I've been trying to understand how things actually work — mostly across markets, technology, and behavior. Not in a formal sense, but by paying attention to what keeps repeating and what seems to drive outcomes underneath.
A lot of what I come across feels surface-level. Trends move fast, opinions are everywhere, and it's easy to mistake noise for insight. But if you look a bit closer, the same patterns tend to show up — incentives shaping behavior, systems reinforcing themselves, and outcomes that aren't random once you see the structure behind them.
I've found that writing helps me slow things down. otherwise, everything stays vague — ideas pass through, but don't really settle. Putting things into words forces a bit more clarity, even if the thinking is still incomplete.
