On a random night after an annoying day at work, i couldn't sleep. Doomscrolling got bored, when post not clarity just gave me more chaos. I sat there alone but not with a quiet mind (if i did sat quiet with my mind, would've turned around my life way earlier).
I knew I wasn't fit enough for watching a film but somehow I clicked netflix, I saw the movie "call me by your name" I clicked it and my life got transformed.
I'd shamelessly divide my life into:
pre- call me by your name
and
post- call me by your name
The film aligned with me weirdly well, it gets me to run my life peacefully till this moment, this one is the light at the end of the tunnel.
Am not a big fan of 'storyline, plot, arc, morals' of films, am into the VIBE, that I can never explain to others because even I don't fully understand it myself.
I loved the serene landscapes of southern italy, the castle like homes in the scenes. Characters that speak less but make you feel them inside your skin, the frames that don't move fast, such a nice slow moving film. I got kinapped by the filmmaking, the music and nowhere in the film there were retention elements. I could literally feel the hot summer in the movie inside me. After a very long time in my life, I retain and linger a feeling and a sweet memory, I experienced this film, cherished this soo well I'd keep shedding tears and laugh about why do i cry.
10 years down the line, I see myself living in a village raising farm & cattle, having slow mornings and long walks inside the woods.
